The 2011 Quicken Loans Carrier Classic took place on the flight deck of the United States Navy Aircraft Carrier USS Carl Vinson. A temporary basketball court, lighting and seating for 7,000 spectators was constructed off site and relocated to the flight deck the day of the game.
